This deposition was made by Ruth C. DeVan on 16 January 1890 for the purpose of assisting Reuben Wilson get a Civil War pension for disabilities received during the war. In this deposition Ruth states that she has known Reuben "...since he was a small boy..." and that "...he is a nephew of my husband."
This deposition supports other evidence that Talcott had at least one other daughter in addition to Abigale and Laura.
