Talcott Devan's Property Deeds
Full Copy of Property Deed Number Three
| This deed, dated 13 March 1815, shows that Talcott and Temperance sold
property to Charly Howard of Augusta, Oneida County, New York for the sum of
one thousand dollars.
The deed clearly states that this parcel of land was thirty acres in size. Talcott and Temperance executed the deed before Judge Cleveland on 29 February 1815, with Cyrus Howard as a witness. The deed was recorded over a year later on 16 march 1816. |
